New model launched!

After extensive testing of the v3 version of the Sunsethue ray-based model, the new forecasts have now replaced the old forecasts.
An update to the ray-tracing algorithm
The new model includes a whole rewrite of the code to trace rays through the atmosphere to obtain the quality metric. It is now more accurate, more extensible and more performant. This added performance means that I was able to increase the resolution of the model, and add a whole bunch of new insightful experimental metrics (which can be found when clicking on a sunrise or sunset).
What's next?
After this big update to the model and underyling API, I will be putting my focus on builing the upcoming mobile app for Sunsethue. There is still some work to do, but everything is still on track to launch in July of this year.
